How it worksFeaturesFor Buildings

The best amenity in your building is the people already living in it.

Neighbora is a managed resident-engagement amenity for apartment communities. We help verified residents find useful neighbors inside their own building — free for residents, simple for your team, and measurable from the first pilot.

The building you already have
200

residents who could lend a hand, share a skill, walk a dog, tutor a kid, or water the plants — if the building gives them a safe, simple reason to meet.

01 — The mechanism

A building feels different when residents can actually find each other.

01

Useful neighbors become visible

Residents can discover the dog-walker, tutor, plant-waterer, handyman, or helpful neighbor already living nearby, without joining another noisy social feed.

02

Connection starts with a real reason

Neighbora turns abstract community into practical moments of help. A service request, a skill listing, or a neighbor introduction is easier to act on than a generic resident event.

03

Your team does not operate it

We configure the building, prepare launch materials, support residents, and keep the pilot moving so your staff is not handed another platform to manage.

04

Private to verified residents

Access is limited to the building. Neighbora is not public, not zip-code scale, and not discoverable by outsiders.

02 — Managed launch

Live in a week. Run by us.

No IT project, no procurement slog, no new admin workflow. We handle setup, launch support, and pilot reporting so your team can stay focused on the building.

Day 1

Talk through the pilot

A 15-minute call to confirm the building, resident mix, launch channels, and what success should prove.

Day 2

Sign one page

The pilot agreement sets expectations, privacy boundaries, and the resident-to-resident model before launch.

Day 3–5

Approve launch materials

We prepare the building code, resident copy, QR links, and welcome-packet language. Your team shares them through channels you already use.

Week 1+

Track the pilot

Residents join, list useful skills, and request introductions. We report building-level adoption and connection signals so you can see what is working.

03 — The platform

Built for managed building pilots.

A resident-friendly experience on the front end, a managed launch motion behind the scenes, and aggregate proof for the property team.

01

Private building directory

Residents can browse useful neighbor services and skills inside their own building, not across the whole internet.

02

Verified resident access

Access is limited to approved residents. No public listings, no outsiders, no zip-code-scale social network.

03

Managed onboarding

We configure the building, launch materials, invite flow, and support path so your team is not operating another app.

04

Aggregate pilot dashboard

See adoption, active listings, accepted meet requests, and return activity at the building level.

05

Resident-safe privacy model

Property teams see building-level signals, not individual resident behavior, private messages, or personal relationships.

06

Works alongside your portal

Rent, maintenance, leasing, payments, and official notices stay where they already are.

04 — Alongside your portal

Keep operations where they are. Add community where it's missing.

Neighbora runs alongside RentCafe, your management app, or whatever portal you already use. It doesn't replace any of it. It adds the one thing a portal can't: residents who actually know each other.

Stays in your portal
  • Rent payments
  • Maintenance requests
  • Leasing & renewals
  • Official notices & documents
Lives in Neighbora
  • A dog-walker two floors up
  • Borrowing a drill or a ladder
  • A tutor for the kids down the hall
  • Building-level adoption and connection proof
05 — The business case

Belonging is hard to fake at renewal time.

Neighbora does not promise to stop every move-out. It gives residents one more real reason to feel rooted before renewal season, then shows whether adoption and connection are actually growing.

06 — Research

The case for connection.

Research does not say software magically prevents move-outs. It says connected, recognized residents are more likely to feel rooted, and neighbor interaction is part of what makes multifamily living feel like a community.

Costly

Vacancy, marketing, leasing, make-ready, and staff time stack up every time a resident turns over.

07 — FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Most buildings can pilot within a week. We handle setup: building config, invite flow, launch materials, and resident support. You sign a simple pilot agreement and approve the launch path, no IT integration, no procurement cycle.

No. Neighbora doesn't touch rent, maintenance, payments, leasing, official notices, or property operations. Those stay in your resident portal, whether that's RentCafe, your management app, or anything else. Neighbora runs alongside it and adds what a portal can't: residents who actually know each other.

The first pilot goal is proof, not magic. We look for building-level adoption, active listings, accepted meet requests, return activity, and resident stories that show whether connection is taking root.

Approve the pilot, approve the resident-facing launch materials, and share them through channels you already use: welcome packet, resident email, front desk, elevator, or move-in flow. We handle setup, onboarding, support, and pilot reporting.

Facebook groups become noise and Nextdoor is zip-code scale. Neighbora is one building, purpose-built around useful neighbor services and introductions, no feeds, no drama, no politics. Just neighbors finding neighbors who can help.

Neighbora is designed as a resident-to-resident directory, not a property-managed services program. Residents participate voluntarily and connect on their own terms. The pilot agreement clarifies that your team is not screening, supervising, or guaranteeing resident services; Neighbora handles platform setup, support, and moderation tooling.

Free during pilot. After the pilot, we offer a flat annual amenity subscription per building, no per-resident charges and no fees to residents for basic access.

The one-paragraph version

Neighbora is a managed resident-engagement amenity for apartment communities. It helps verified residents find useful people, skills, and help inside their own building, while giving property teams simple aggregate proof that the pilot is creating adoption and connection. It complements existing resident portals by focusing on resident-to-resident connection, not rent, maintenance, or property operations.
